AcademyOne has been very busy this summer putting our state-of-the-art products to work for some exciting projects surrounding guided transfer pathways and prior learning recognition!
AcademyOne has been awarded a contract to implement its Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) software platform for the Montana University System. The PLA solution will provide an avenue for more Montanans to access and engage in postsecondary education by leveraging their college-level learning that was acquired outside of the traditional classroom through life and work experiences.
With new technology from AcademyOne, the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges launched a statewide Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) solution, called College Credit FastTrack. Launching College Credit FastTrack will expand the opportunities for nontraditional learners in Pennsylvania’s community colleges to earn credit for learning gained through other training and work experiences in order to accelerate their time to degree completion in an affordable manner.
We are hard at work in our new location, and we have several exciting events to announce!
AcademyOne has been awarded a contract to develop and implement a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Website and Application/Assessment/e-Portfolio System for the fourteen Community Colleges in the State. The fully automated system, scheduled to go live in September, will help the institutions determine if a student is eligible for PLA credit and the best way to award it.
