Recent implementations of AcademyOne’s 360Atlas solution, have afforded The University of Adelaide and Charles Sturt University the ability to become more transparent and consistent in their response to applications of credit for prior learning submitted by domestic and international learners. The platform is a robust, configurable workflow application that supports the information needs and processes used by students and staff to have learning completed elsewhere recognized as credit toward a degree or qualification. Both universities have seen an acceleration in response turnaround times as their individual virtual repository of assessed sources and learning evolves.
“It was our goal to deliver more timely and efficient credit offers. The system accomplishes this by allowing faculty to record credit determinations in a centralized database which is exposed to prospective learners,” said David Stoward, The University of Adelaide’s Project Manager of Technology Services.
